Many people today feel the need and pressure of being successful.
Many people often ask; "Why does this happen to me?"
Unfortunately, most people get so depressed that they get angry, filled with hate, resentful and angry because they can't get beyond their own problems.
These questions sound familiar?
Why am I like this?
Why do I do what I do?
Why am I not succeeding at work?
Why do I fell depressed at times?
Why am I not growing personally, professionally, or in my spiritual life?
I challenge you today to consider not the CAUSE but the CALLING on your life.
Today if you look at your resume and reflect back over your life's resume, you will find that you have made many accomplishments merely by living.
Do this simple exercise today. Instead of reflecting on the negative causes, write down 21 things you are thankful for. When the negative CAUSES of temporary issues stick its ugly head out, cancel and replace those negative thoughts with positive proof of what you have already accomplished or things you are grateful for.
Next write down 1 to 5 strengths you already possess that make you the unique person you are today.
TD Jakes says:
"There is a reason that you are who you are. But there's an even greater purpose for your life. You may be who you are, but you are not yet who YOU WILL BE! God has bigger and better things ahead for you. We are called to be a "partaker of the glory that shall be revealed" (1Peter 5:1)"
